I don't know that there is a right way to handle that situation. It's very ambiguous. I totally get your reasoning about her seeing how it affected a real person, but I do remember writing horrible things about people including my parents and not meaning them, and just wanting to vent, even at a young age.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10325609744026316727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383409874556484688.post-91813797297546370522009-03-12T04:50:00.000-04:002009-03-12T04:50:00.000-04:00I'm not Dr Phil and I am not going to give you any...I'm not Dr Phil and I am not going to give you any advice.
I raised four girls. At about 12 they began to think that they were the only thing in life that mattered.
It was amazing to watch them go from down right mean to loving daughters. I never hit any of my girls. All I needed to do was raise my voice(most of the time)
But remember they do love you even if they won't admit it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383409874556484688.post-68106843844112326742009-03-11T14:33:00.000-04:002009-03-11T14:33:00.000-04:00That's very sad to read and from someone so young....That's very sad to read and from someone so young. It's such a scary world that we live in now and I'm so grateful I only had one child. I'm certainly not sure how I would have handled that situation myself, but we do the best we can.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383409874556484688.post-47458865216187261982009-03-11T08:22:00.000-04:002009-03-11T08:22:00.000-04:00Wow ~ Thanks for sharing!! I "rigged" mine once & left it "out" - sort of - to see what my mom would do and when I got from school I could see that she had read it - I was soooo mad and then wrote some not so nice things about her - ha! P.S. My "Mommy" is now 83 yrs young and she has always been a wonderful mom and friend and one of the most honorable women I've ever known!!OLLIE MCKAY'S ~ A Chic Boutiquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15012412945668139064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383409874556484688.post-10135285201555582552009-03-11T08:19:00.000-04:002009-03-11T08:19:00.000-04:00Sorry, I had to leave for a few minutes.
