What in the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks Is Wrong With This Cat?

Not so long ago, I posted about my our cat, C.C.(Chubby Checker). She's the psycho kitty with amazing sneak attack skills. The furry little devil that caused me to crack a rib.

Anyway, I let her stay, but I'm beginning to regret it. A couple of days ago, she began making this horrid, ear piercing, meow/howl. At times, it almost sounds like she is forming actual words. All day, all night, she paces and howls.Upstairs, downstairs, back upstairs, howl, howl, howl. When she finally stops pacing, she sits in the picture window and howls some more. This isn't a sound like she is in pain or anything. It's like she's trying to communicate with another cat three states away or something. She is also twirling around the table legs like a pole dancer.

This is not the first female cat I have owned. I don't recall any of my past cats doing this. Could she be in heat? Thankfully, she is an indoor cat full time, so I don't have to worry about a tom getting to her. At any rate. if someone could please tell me how to quiet her down, in a HUMANE way lol, I would be grateful.

  1. Ummm, I'd say it sounds like she's in heat! My mom's female is like that when she's in heat (which seems to be more often than not, lol)

  2. Thanks for replying! Oh well, I guess she'll just have to keep on wailing as she is NOT getting a boyfriend. Guess I'll dig out some earplugs! lol

I love comments!
