This is an unsolicited review. I purchased this product, with no incentives or discounts, and want to share my opinions of this product with my readers.

  My main reason for purchasing this particular microscope is the fact that it is digital. This enables the user to view the magnified object on their computer screen, as well as record a video, or just a snapshot. These features make it possible for the kids and I to view a magnified object as a group and also save the images for reviewing later. I teach my children at home.

  Upon unpacking this microscope, I was instantly impressed with the quality. The stand is weighted which reduces the chance of toppling. Several accessories (Reflector Tube, Rubber Sleeve, Curette, and Plastic Sleeves) were included. The USB cable is extra long.

 Installing the software from the included CD was a breeze and I had the microscope up and running in less than five minutes.The kids gathered by my desk and there were lots of "oohs" and "aahs" as they each gave it a try. I must admit, everyone's favorite feature, including myself, is the ability to look into their own ear. LOL I know we are going to be using this for microscope quite often.

 Also, with its ease of use and portability, it will come in handy for other things around the farm. Since it can be used like a regular camera, it can be snaked down into vents and cracks in walls etc... to find lost screws, check for varmits, and read hart to reach part numbers.

At 119.00, it was a bit of an investment, but I feel certain that it is a good one. I purchased ours from Amazon.com.
