Thanks to everyone who has been contacting me to check in. Big hugs to all my followers as well, new and old. Here is the latest...
I didn't go to the ENT. They wanted an insane amount of money and I just couldn't come up with it. The dumb thing is, the majority of the huge cost was due to a hearing test that they insisted on giving me. Why test an ear that I haven't heard out of for years? Especially since the pressing issue is to check the status of a tumor and clear up an infection. If I'm dead, it really isn't going to make a damn whether I can hear or not. I say, give me the treat the horrible stuff, which I can afford at the moment and then worry about the stupid hearing test later.
I have been starting a lot of seeds. Hubs had promised to get our greenhouse up and running (3 years ago, I think), but instead, he has loaned pieces and parts of it out to his cronies. So, I figured out a way to make lots of little greenhouses and they seem to be working just as well. :P I am so glad that Spring is here. We are still having a few cold snaps but the beautiful, warm, days are making up for it.
Cina has been nominated and accepted by two different honor societies in just the last 2 weeks! This is a real blessing, as it makes her eligible for scholarships that she otherwise wouldn't be considered for. Next month, she is going on a trip to New York with the chorus. She is so excited! I'm forcing her to take my camera and get loads of pictures.
Selly is just busy being Selly for the time being.LOL
Tallen is changing by leaps and bounds. He has developed a real sense of humor. To think of where he was, less than three years ago, and how far he has come, brings tears to my eyes.
Ross is a case! She fears nothing and has an opinion on everything. Frankly, she never shuts up! Ever. I wouldn't change it though. She is a true joy and is quite entertaining. I am a bit puzzled by her new imaginary friend though. Most children stick to imagining animals or kids their own age. Not Ross. Her "friend" is at least 6 feet tall ( I can tell by how far back she throws her head, when looking up to speak to him. She says he has black hair and blue eyes. His name is Rick Overby. We don't have any friends with that last name. I have no idea where she came up with it...
Last month, my beagle/cocker spaniel had 6 puppies. This was her first (and last!) litter. Only two of the pups lived past being born. I just had to share a pic with y'all of one of them. He is fat as a pig and cute as a button. But, the thing I wanted y'all to see is that he has a perfect, upside down heart on his side! I named him Valentino.
Anywho, I will try to write more tomorrow. Hugs to all!
Hope things work out for you health wise.
