Hello World!

I'm back, like a vertebrae!

My life has been a whirlwind of events, since the new year arrived. I broke my thumb, doing something really stupid. Miss Ross needed dental surgery. So the days leading up to the actual procedure were filled with pre-op visits, making sure the car was ready for the trip, and securing childcare for the other kids. She came through the surgery just fine.

Then I was snowed in with the kids. A great thing, but also far too much going on to even dream of sitting down at the computer long enough to type my thoughts.

Our truck died and needed repairs. Plus, after weeks of chasing renegade cows, who kept finding new places to break their fence, we decided to sell all of our cattle. Every last one. It's a relief, not worrying about going down to feed each evening, or listening to the coyotes howling at night and not wondering which calf they decided to attack. The sell also allows us to pay off the house, the taxes, and some other bills. But it also removes our financial cushion. This means I will need to go into overdrive with couponing and selling my wares.

Speaking of, I have been in design overdrive, but have just got back to actual beading as my thumb was injured. I'm not sure why but, even with all the crappy, strange, stuff that tends to happen around here, I have a really good feeling about 2011. I'm going to do my best to blog each day, as well as do things that are actually "blogworthy". I hope all of you are having a wonderful year so far!

HUGS!
