According to Hubs, our budget just doesn't have room for me to have a cell phone. Therefore, he gets to monitor all my calls. Which is fine as I only talk to a couple of people and never say something I wouldn't let him hear anyway. What does drive me crazy is that, whenever I walk into another room while talking, he shouts, "Hey, come sit down! Are you saying something you don't want me to hear?!" Honestly, I am just busy doing other things as I talk, so I walk from room to room. I might be doing laundry, making dinner, etc... Also, He likes to interject himself into my conversation, "Tell her I said..." etc.. It drives me crazy.

Now Hubs, on the other hand, sits in his truck and talks to whomever, without interruption, whenever he wants. Now, that just isn't fair. Where I do have the upper hand is knowledge of technology. He just knows how to turn his phone off and on and dial numbers. That's it. The other day, he said he had forgotten what XXX said about something. I casually mentioned that he should just go back and listen to the conversation. He stressed to me that the guy had not left a message but had told him the info during a conversation.

I replied, " I understand that, but your cell phone records all of your calls. Just go back and listen to the conversation."

The color left his face a bit, " It does what? How do you know that?"

Trying to keep a straight face, I said, "Because all the cell phones do that now."

Still stunned, he asked, "What did you change to make it do that?"

I said, " I didn't change anything. It came that way, every conversation you have ever had on that phone is stored in the memory."

"Really? Well, How do I listen to them?"

"Well, you go into Options..."

He cut me short by throwing up his hands. Like I said, he knows nothing about his phone and I may as well have been speaking German. He was so out of sorts that he completely forgot about trying to recall what is friend said. Every couple of days, he will bring it up again, asking me if I am sure it recorded all of his calls. I finally said, "Wow, that sure is worrying you. You must have been saying some pretty awful stuff about me on that phone and are afraid that I have listened to it."

"I have not!", he insisted.

Yeah, whatever, bullsh*t. I have a feeling that I know better. It's going to be a hoot, when he storms into the cell phone provider and demands that they stop recording his calls. LOL

  2. Yeah, I thought the same thing. Too bad it doesn't really record those calls... But, I'll bet that, if he was saying anything bad about me on that phone, he's not doing it anymore ! LOL
